Saw this poll on YT. Out of every character that appeared in Sonic Adventure 2, Knuckles was easily the one with the least significance. How on earth did voters prefer his story in Adventure 2 over Adventure 1? You know, the game that literally established his tribe’s history?!

Just played through the #Deltarune Chapter 4 Weird Route…

Holy shit. I should’ve expected this to be even darker and more messed up than the chapter 2 weird route but it still caught me off guard. Thoughts in the alt text
The conversation between the player and Noelle is one of the most disgusting things I have ever witnessed in my gaming life. Kris, freed from the player, tried to talk to Noelle before the events of chapter 4 and reassure her that everything was gonna be ok. But as soon as we possessed Kris again, Noelle’s entire worldview shatters and she is forced against her will to re-equip the thorn ring. And that jingle that played after the ring was equipped is haunting. I really believed that we have crossed the point of no return. The scene of Kris beating the player’s soul up was so hard to watch. We ruined his life and we can’t do anything about it except make it even worse. And that’s not the worst part. When we are given the option to think about Susie, we can also think about Noelle, and we hear her say “Thank you.” The player’s actions turned this poor girl into a dependent servant and it’s genuinely heartbreaking to think about. I am terrified of what the Weird Route will progress into in the next chapter. According to the ARG in the Deltarune website, Chapter five is gonna have a weird route that is just as narratively impactful as chapter 2’s weird route, and I am dreading every day that we get to Chapter 5’s release.
