I've been playing some 2000's era arcade racing games this year, notably Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) and Burnout Revenge, and I'm floored how we just don't get games like these, anymore.
We're stuck with kart racers, simulators/simcade, and the occasional Need for Speed (but it sucks).

Today, we learn he has lots of internal bleeding, so much that we can't even see his organs on an x-ray.
We have to put him down this week.
I'm heartbroken.
We did everything.

There were five Doom games before 2016 that didn't have them, either.
They added plenty of ways to melee enemies in The Dark Ages. It's not even out yet, so wait until it is? Then play it?

Look, I hate the original Marathon trilogy, but I was excited for a big Sony-funded sequel.
Then, it was announced to be an extraction shooter.
Then, we get a dull, flat, ugly, lifeless game in the reveal.

I know most people hate post-processing effects like motion blur, depth of field, and ambient occlusion, but when used right, they can make a game look stellar.
If you turned off post-processing effects in Doom (2016), you're a sick bastard and heaven has no place for you.

My favorite thing to do in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel was first turn draw a Thunder King Rai-Oh, play it, pass turn, watch the opponent do absolutely nothing for 5-10 seconds, and quit.
It was even funnier with an Inspector Boarder because they would take about 20 seconds.

The PS Vita was my favorite handheld, and the Switch didn't replace it for me.
There are still excellent games forever trapped on it.
The first one there is my favorite Vita game, and in my all-time top ten for sure, Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines (Oreshikabane no Koete Yuke 2).

When Sony went full steam ahead on only AAA games, something was lost.
Now I can't cross my save data between my PS4 and PS5?

I love Housemarque's games ever since Super Stardust HD on PS3.
I played Resogun mostly on PS Vita! Such an excellent portable game.
Returnal is a brilliantly fine game, and there truly isn't much else like it.
Looking forward to it.

I hate that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is so much fun.
