Trees, wetlands, and peatlands are not eternal, e.g. drought and fires. And pumping CO2 into leaky, hole-filled oil fields won't work. Better "eternal" methods available or under development:

Plus I see so many articles that claim California electricity prices are about 1/3 of what I and my neighbors pay to PG&E, the largest supplier in the state. Huh?

Bad implementation is not a good reason to dump #carbonpricing or #carbontax. We need to do better, faster!

Probably gray hydrogen made from natural gas, releasing lots of methane and CO2 along the way. Couldn't find hydrogen source on web sites. Sourcing green hydrogen in large quantities still almost impossible. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_production
