Spine enjoyed teasing Sam, brushing her tendrils lightly over his body like a feather, each end buzzing with a faint charge, causing him to laugh and squirm, yet never pushing her away. It was fun, but no longer exciting; she'd already identified all his most sensitive nerves. Well, almost all. As she snaked the tip of her spine just beneath the undone button of his waistband, she could feel him seize up, quivering. Lower. Ever so slightly lower... The tension in Sam's muscles could be felt in the damp, meaty air. Spine vaguely tilted her head, "...Is this okay?" After a moment of oppressive silence, she heard the word she wanted to hear. "Y...yes..." With a faint, satisfied thrum, Spine leaned in, pushing the tendrils lower and lower. They wriggled like worms, poking and prodding with their tiny electrical currents, soaking in every reflexive twitch and shiver as she explored the skin and nerves she'd until then been denied, along with absorbing every gasp, squeak, and whimper from Sam's temptingly biteable throat as she worked. As soon as the curious nerves found their trembling and eager prize, it was all over for him. Spine hummed, pleased, as Sam twisted and arched; at the crescendo of cries of surprise pleasure into ecstatic howls as she allowed her teeth and claws to delicately join in playing the rest of his body like the fine, well-tuned instrument he was, making full use of all the sensitive little notes she'd so carefully catalogued prior. Music to her questionably present ears. She knew what she had in store for him was so much better than this. There was no way he could reject her offer after such a powerful demonstration. But as Spine listened to the sweet melodies of frail, transient human skin under her careful and studied expertise, she began to consider... ...perhaps she could let him keep it just a little longer...

The most recent... session... with Spine left Sam restless, content to pace about the warm, pulsating room with his mind and eyes hazy from the overstimulation as his flayed host took a break to devise new experiences for her willing plaything. The surroundings bled together as Sam hobbled aimlessly. Soon, the exhaustion caught up with him and he turned to lean his back against a wall. "-wouldn't do that-" Spine's muffled warning came too late as the 'wall' grabbed on. It wasn't a wall. It was one of the large, living but unconscious piles. Sam's mind snapped out of it just long enough to begin to panic as he began to sink in, wriggling tendons and tendrils of meat and ribs gripping his half-undressed form, prodding and digging into his tender skin all over... not enough to hurt, but enough to make him squirm. His own struggling subsided for a moment. Against his better judgment, he closed his eyes and began to press himself a little more into the mass, to feel it envelop more of his sensation-craving body, giving its insistent, all-encompassing grasp a little more to work with as the writhing meat thoughtlessly tried to draw him in, piece by shuddering piece. A sudden, external pressure jolted Sam's consciousness to attention, as he realized Spine was over him, trying to free him from the pile. The throbbing in his ears diminished enough to hear her. "-still have skin. You would have been taken apart. Completely absorbed." Oh... well, that means it's safe, right? Nothing to worry about. "N-no. It's fine..." Sam insisted, grin lopsided and wavering, "I... I k-kind of liked that..." Spine paused, her permanently quirked head tilting just a bit further, "Really?" "Y-yeah..." he responded sheepishly. She paused to consider. After a moment, she hummed to herself, carefully pushing Sam back against the mass, repositioning him. "If you insist. This is... convenient for me. Are you ready for more?" Sam shivered, then nodded. Spine whistled and set to work.

Weird one that I am not tagging. Started doing the first refining-sketch pass, decided I didn't have the energy to do a full lineart pass, so you get this sketchy thing.

Sam felt Spine’s claw sink in through his skin and muscle, drawing down the center of his back, splitting it, clean and smooth, with surgical precision. He expected it to hurt, but it felt strangely... satisfying. Freeing. Like someone scratching a deep, infuriating itch he couldn’t reach. He wasn’t numb. He could feel hot blood flowing down his sides as she grasped the deep incision with her claws and pulled it wide open. He could feel a bit of a sting as the air reached his bones. It felt... wrong, yet right, at the same time. The contradictory signals in his brain swirled and he let out a soft whine, a cross between a contented sigh and a groan of discomfort. “...W-what did you do to me..?” he muttered, head turning to glance back. She didn’t answer initially. He shuddered, feeling something cold and slick glide up his right side, then his left, as she lapped the blood off of him before leaning close, “I’m simply preparing you for the inevitable. Do you not like it?” “Mmnh,” he groaned, “It’s fine. It’s just weird.” “I’m glad.” He felt lightheaded... almost giddy? Probably from the blood loss. ...Definitely from the blood loss. Spine leaned down, inserting her tongues into his back at the lumbar vertebrae, and took a long, slow lick up the length of his exposed backbone. The overwhelming feeling of absolute sensory conflict sent a shock through Sam’s body as he convulsed, eyes rolling back. When she reached the base of his skull, she paused a bit, seeming to suck at the fluid for a moment before pulling back and repeating the motion from the bottom. Then once again. He wanted more. NEEDED more... but his nerves couldn’t handle it. He tried to hold on, but his attempts to drink in the sensations as she did were met with futility as the soft, warm embrace of unconsciousness claimed him instead. He woke up to find he had been carefully stitched up... somehow. Spine lay beside him. “You’re not quite ready yet... but we’re -very- close now...”

Sooo @kahootofeverything.bsky.social and I were talking about Spine kissing and I ended up writing a short thing. Sooo I had to do a quick doodle, once again merely as a vessel for ALT text.

You feel teeth gently press against your cheek. There's no biting, just gentle pressure, cold and hard. Is she... trying to kiss you? [ >Kiss her back< // Shoo her away ] After a moment, you feel the teeth begin to part. You're about to pull away, worried she may bite, when you feel something slick and wet press against your lips instead, tapered to a point that tries to push its way into your mouth. ...Oh. That's her tongue, isn't it. She's getting a little forward... [ >...Might as well< // "N-not this time..." ] You're not really sure what you're thinking, but in a moment of weakness, you open your mouth and let her in. She pulls you closer. You feel her hot breath, teeth lightly scratching against your cheeks as she opens her jaws wider, tongue pushing deeper into your mouth... Deeper... deeper . . . ...Oh dear... it's really... quite long isn't it . . . [ >...Keep going< // Indicate you're NOT ready ] You resist the urge to gag, or bite down, choosing instead to focus intently on your own breathing, thankful she's conscientious enough to keep your airway open with this... intrusion. You feel the tongue sliding down your throat, occasionally stopping, as if stuck, withdrawing for a moment only to push its way further down. You can feel it in your chest, now. You're terrified to move, but you can't help but feel there's something... strangely soothing about how careful she is being with you. It's uncomfortable, but in a way that feels merely unfamiliar; in a way that could be overcome with time time and work. Maybe. As you concentrate on your breath, you also become very conscious of your heartbeat... and in doing so, you can feel it. Her tongue pressing against your heart through your esophagus, stroking at it, lovingly. It's terrifying, but feels... ...good. After several minutes of this disconcerting but bizarrely exciting show of intimacy, she lets you go, slowly drawing her tongue from your throat, and leaving you feeling strangely empty.

The Spine I've drawn for this comic might be the best one I've drawn so far (it's from Sophie's memory, hence looking a lot more ominous; the centered pupil makes her look mindless), but I'm not sure if maybe that back cavity is a little too egregious, hahaha prolly gonna change it

Spine wasn't remotely upset that Sam was seeing other women... she knew he'd always come back to her. No, she was genuinely hurt that he felt SHE was the one being insensitive in her refusal to... go further. Not when he was the one who never bothered to tell her upfront what his needs were. Did she ALWAYS have to make the first move? After all... open, honest communication is the most important part of a... deeply fulfilling relationship...

Cartoony Sam asleep naked on a couch with a blanket over him, snoring loudly with a bit of drool coming out of his mouth. Spine leans over the back, looking bored or tired, smoking a cigarette. Sam wakes up as Spine takes the cigarette out of her mouth and looks away. Sam looks very groggy as he says "Whoa... That was... intense... Did I dream all that, or-" Spine puffs the smoke out of her back. Sam lifts up the blanket, with a look of confused surprise. He looks over at Spine, and asks "...Di... did you give me bottom surgery...????" Still looking bored, she answers, "Sorry, I got carried away... I can give it back if you want..."

She wraps her arms around you, resting her head on your chest. If it felt weird in her more ghostly form, it feels even more visceral now; what was only an impression of wet meat is now very real. Since you can see her, you're much more aware of every little detail. The bones, the shreds of flesh, her dangling eye, the goop dripping from between her teeth... It's uncomfortable... but oddly touching. Still, while the feeling of being genuinely cared for is nice... there's a pang in your heart that grows deeper and more painful the longer you think about it. It's truly disgusting. ...But perhaps, it's what you deserve...
