I feel like the reason it’s so hard for me to start reading a new book is the same reason it’s hard for me to start a new show—I don’t know if I will be as fully immersed as the last one so I get a weird sense of anxiety and just avoid. Why? Don’t know. I wish my brain worked better lol.

“What radicalized you?” Bro, I grew up obsessed with Scooby-Doo where the villain was always a greedy rich man, and movies like Robots where the poor were exploited and unable to get the healthcare they needed. The media I consumed taught me EMPATHY. It’s not that hard to grasp.

Everyone is doing their end of year wrap up right now and it's so very easy to compare yourself and find yourself lacking. But you don't know what obstacles they had to overcome to achieve all of those things or what privileges that person had that made that success a bit easier.
