I do think that green and purple will open a lot of new options! For stuff like text and linework it's nice to have darker colors to choose from since it's so hard to get them to line up and mix properly otherwise

and ultimately it's a lot more comfortable for me to pursue art styles that rely on traditional anatomy, volume, etc. while I struggled a lot with flat, abstract designs. there's a difference between improving weaknesses and doing something you hate to "conquer" it, you don't get a prize at the end

this might seem kind of abstract to so use myself as an example, I was very confused about what direction to take my art bc i liked LOOKING at a lot of art styles. but it helped to sit down and see what kind of art I enjoyed the process making. i found my brain is a bit more logical/technical

also you can't pause memberships for more than a month at a time but you also can't re-pause early. so you have to wait for the pause to end and then hopefully un-pause in the mystery time window before your patrons get charged 😭😭😭 there's GOT to be a better way than this.....

I always liked describing it as an orobouros (the snake eating its own tail). I think it describes the self-destructive cycle well and always wanted to get it as a tattoo haha

once we had some fermented juices left over in our food scraps bin (to collect before taking to compost) so we emptied it onto the concrete and went on a walk. When we came back, we saw a ton of roly polies sipping it. I like to imagine that it was like wine to them... i thought it was so cute 😭

thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I spend a lot of time reflecting on my thoughts to sort through them, which comics ends up being an outlet for. For OCD in particular, since it took so long for me to get diagnosed, I spent a lot of time observing my thoughts and trying to make sense of them.
