honestly, the idea that Transformers can just—choose to be reclaimed by the planet works nicely as a solution to their indefinite lifespans. Wish they explored how exactly that impacts Cybertron, or maybe some baddies could do sacrifical ‘recycling’ for a new angle on the age old energy conflict.
