Also, she LOVES her hair and has always left is long despite the impracticality. She rarely wears it down though #oc #ocart

Her sister dying of the taint is what motivated her to leave the alienage and seek out the Grey Wardens in the first place! She joined solely to try and save others, and rejected any kind of praise or acknowledgement for her achievements. #oc

She contradicts herself a lot. She’s naturally very helpful towards others and is willing to sacrifice a lot but refuses help and support because she doesn’t feel deserving and is scared to risk her independence. #ocart #oc

Clarke is 34 as of DATV, and has spent the last ~14 years as a Grey Warden. She was very naive at the time of her Joining and was kind of manipulated into it? She told her recruiter about her sister’s death and wanting to Do Something, so they capitalized on that and convinced her to join at 20. #oc

this is my plan for my first playthrough to feel everything out but yeah! i’m thinking she grew up in antiva and ran away from home as a stowaway on a ship pretty young, and fell in love w the sea. i might make her a rogue instead of warrior but we’ll see
