Dubbed “the Loch Ness Monster of Quebec”, Ponik was first seen in 1870s. In 1913, a logging boss named Noe Ducharme tried fishing out the monster with specially made hooks and bait made out of meat and cheese.

The Zulu people describe a giant snake like creature called the Mamlambo, which means “goddess of the river”. Though a legend, newspapers in 1997 reported stories of people seeing the snake in the Mzintlava River in South Africa.

On December 11th, 1999, villagers canoeing on Lake Murray in the Western Province of Paupa New Guiana reported seeing a large animal in the shallow water near Boboa. That following day, two pastors affirmed they saw something strange too, which resembled the extinct Iguanodon

According to cryptozoologist Debbie Hynes, a father of one of her friends, while stationed in Papua New Guinea during WW2, saw a large cobweb, then followed it to a 10-15 ft spider. It was a foot away from his face, and he slowly backed away. There have been other reports of such spiders as well

In March of 1997, a pack of wolf like desert animals attacked 23 people in a span of 2 days. While the attacks happened on the streets, some happened in the homes of the victims. Only one animal of the pack was ever killed, who’s identity has yet to be revealed.

Sheepsquatch is definitely one of the odd cryptids out there. Believed to live in rural West Virginia, the Sheepsquatch is more Goat-Man than Bigfoot. It was first seen in the 1994, and has appeared on numerous TV shows such as Monsters & Mysteries in America and Mountain Monsters.

According to Linda S. Godfrey, in the mid-1990s a warden for Wisconsin’s DNS was driving down State Highway 13 when he saw a lizard like biped in the middle of the road. As he got closer, the creature sprouted wings and flew over his car and landed behind it, causing the warden to speed out of there

The Beaman Monster is a 12 ft gorilla seen in Beaman, Missouri. According to legend, the ape escaped a circus train and now lives in the wilderness around the town. Another description of the beast is that of a canine, like a coyote or a wolf.

On February 13th, 1958, a Japanese research ship Soya witnessed a large sea animal that they compared to Godzilla, off the coast of Lutzow-Holm Bay, Antarctica. Some claim it is an unknown species of whale… But no, it’s Godzilla. He’s real & he’s coming for you

In May of 1882, three kids saw a 30ft black & white snake with legs in Crosswick, Ohio. It then grabbed a boy and dragged him into the woods, until he was saved by hunters. A hunting posse was formed, and destroyed its tree home. The creature had not been seen since.

The Ndalawo was first described by William Hitchens in 1937 while in Uganda. He described it as a leopard with black fur, but hunts in packs and makes a sound similar to a hyena’s laugh. A pelt was discovered in the 1920s, but has since been lost.

Made famous by John Steinbeck, the Dark Watchers are tall, dark silhouettes who observe travelers along the Santa Lucia Mountains in California. They are usually seen around dusk and dawn, and if one were to walk up to them, they will simply vanish into thin air.

Someday in 1986, NASA archivist Frank Shaw was walking to his car after a long shift from the Johnson Space Center when he saw a gargoyle-like creature perched on the building. He told his story to his daughter, who told it to Nick Redfern in 2004

The Amomongo is a Sasquatch-like being seen in La Castellana, Philippines. The creature supposedly attacked two villagers, as well as mauled livestock, back in 2008. Medics noted scratches on the victim's face, back, and abdomen.

Within the countries of South Africa and Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), there are tales of an eel-like water beast with the head of a horse. It is blamed for storms and death & there have been sightings of the serpent, including a few photographs (one pictured).
