I don’t think we ever bought a “new” encyclopedia since older ones were common in used bookstores. Except I bought a CDROM encyclopedia around 1992. The videos were tiny.

No, it’s not your problem or mistake. I just like to remind the rest of the universe that the word “first” is tricky in tech.

Another qualified technical “first”. Not the first Sat phone, or the first commercial sat phone. All technical “firsts” are qualified somehow.
