I was thrilled to be able to visit Sennelier and La Maison du Pastel during my trip. I had to exercise a lot of restraint, but I’m so excited to try out all of these in my sketchbook and personal pieces.

Today was one of those soul sucking days at my 9-5. But once I closed my laptop to go outside and enjoy the rest of the nice spring day, it didn’t matter as much anymore. My husband caught these candids of me soaking up the last bits of sunshine and strumming on my ukulele.

I got a fun opportunity to be a featured artist for this month with the Tiny Gallery at St John’s here PDX! I ended up making 12 minis (3x3”) that were themed around the idea of a Tiny [Big] Band.

Fun fact: I played the trombone for 7.5 yrs & now learning the ukulele
