From what I can tell, ICE & Co are detaining, arresting, assaulting, charging, shooting, attacking…with no looking into. I’m not judging mayor or governor yet, but am keeping a close eye. Talk is cheap and waiting can kill. How many lives are you willing to forego? How many freedoms?

They are and I share when I can. Is there crime? Sure. It’s a human condition. But there’s nothing war-torn about them. Or wasn’t until the American Gestapo arrived. And it’s very localized to where the goons are.

This is more true than many can digest. In my younger years, it cut me to the quick when others scoffed at my experiences. One of the most empowering days I had was realizing I don’t need others to believe me. Now I strive to understand the pains of others, without judgement.

That is the plan after hubs’ retirement…assuming that still happens. I’ve lived near his family our whole life. He is on a wait list for any opening Portland office, but it doesn’t look good just now. He agrees I deserve my Portland time. Plus…he loves it, too!
