Wow! I am surprised; that sounds like an unfairly bad deal for researchers.

Is that so? Why is most research behind a fairly serious paywall? I had thought some of that money from subscription fees went to the actual authors.

Why even have copyright, then?

But, you can use labor power to resist automation if you don’t have trade. If you do, “we’ll lose out to foreign competitors if we keep using you obsolete humans” becomes an unbeatable argument. Today it’s “if we protect your IP from wanton appropriation for Gen AI, then China will win!”

Easy to mistake for Indonesian War of Independence markings on re-used Imperial Japanese aircraft. Makes you think, doesn't it? Large islands, de-facto defeating a militarily insurmountable conquering power because the international community viewed their actions as so profoundly unacceptable...

I swear I know what's going on with this, but proving it is hard, when doing it alone in my spare time. I theorize this population implosion is largely a consequence of how the modern built environment affects the circadian rhythm.

Infuriating. When right-to-repair is controversial even for service-members on deployment.

Wow. You have different tastes compare to most Thanksgiving feasters. What is your position on mince pie? That one has a history of being controversial or divisive in my lot.
