At least some happens via social media, especially if you can get a few well connected people to share it. If you can get something on the SBL members update email, that would reach many, maybe try other organisations like CBA or IBR? Poster/flier at conferences with a QR code

We on this side of the world appreciate our occasional chance to get to a major conference without spending a whole day on the plane, so it was nice to have SNTS over here! And we get to follow it up with ISBL next year

Fair enough, I’m sure there will be some tricky decisions for people for this year. I realise my suggestion doesn’t help for this year but hopefully it gives another option for people planning ahead

For those looking for alternative options, international SBL will be in Australia next year. Could be a good option for those outside the USA

There’s also no penalty to letting it lapse and then renewing it later, if in a year or two you do want to go to the annual meeting

Takes a sensory approach to the I Am sayings in John. Interestingly, goes beyond a standard 5 senses to consider things like kinaesthetic experiences and proprioception. Has some good thoughts on setting sensory experiences in cultural context. (2/3)
