Heh, right after you mentioned the source, I went on Macintosh Garden and got the whole collection.

Converting them to modern TTFs sounds pretty tricky, unfortunately; might need to redraw them in a bitmap editor like Fontstruct. (I especially liked "Washington D.C.")

Whoa. These I haven't seen. Where did they come from? It's been a while, but I don't recall these being standard-issue system fonts. Second-from-top looks like Motter Tektura, but I don't recognize the others.

I'm especially curious about the typewriter one. It's beautiful.

I really wonder what the performance was like for images like that, especially if he was on a 512K or something. Maybe it was fine, since Apple showed off scanned photos in MacPaint, but those look like unusually large canvases for the period.
