I think most of the discussion I've certainly been involved in has been about more than just the manager or one particular individual. It's been about where we are as a club and how we move forward. BR articulated it and it eventually cost him his job.

'Faithful through and through' to me means deep seated genuine dedication shown throughout the Club - not only fans. I don't see that at the moment.

Have they accepted responsibility for this appointment though - for the first time ever this manager (unless I've missed it) has not sat down in front of the media with anyone from the board. He has been left alone from day 1 - which is in itself baffling

Probably right but I think DD knows the importance of fan influence - purchasing power, brand reputation, loyalty and increased bottom line. His son's input on his behalf at the AGM shows how the best laid plans for succession might not be as easy as first thought. Still think we're in for changes
