We all know, what happened next. Most of Western Europe joined forces, made an unlikely & loose alliance with an utterly dictatorial, ideological foe and with the leadership of an emerging non-European, white supremacist superpower eventually defeated the aggressor. /2

And them fascists will have it their way, eventually. Have a long history of forcing their values upon other nations (Japanese Constitution of 1947, German Basic Law of 1949, "democracy export" to 3rd world, etc). Only small difference is, that now it's about the opposite "values". 🤷‍♂️
