My heart is literally breaking after talking to a good friend back home who’s been on DACA working on her citizenship for years now. Who’s quit their job and hunkered down at home while her husband works.

I had some regrets about sitting my ass at home last Tuesday and missing an election for my first time in my adult life.
But after last night I have no more regrets. I’m so done participating in electoral politics in this country. We aren’t voting ourselves out of any of this if Dems are our option
