Same here, learned my lesson. £80+ down the drain and so sad to go from the heights of BF2, Bad Company, BF3, BF4 (BF1 was great, too), to the cesspit of 2042.

Battlefield 2042, a colossal waste of money & honestly heartbreaking to see such an incredible franchise, fall off a cliff. I think this was the turning point in which I fell out of love with most multiplayer games, and now dedicate 90%+ of my time to single-player games.
