Actually sad - looking at it 5 years later - it escalated all over a false accusation of colorism. She was an actual IRL activist (I'll never dismiss someone's actual activism) who went viral and then turned influencer/troll.

100% legitimate according Twitter's TOS at the time and pretty sure that hasn't been changed since Elon took over: It's not forbidden to link someone's *public* social media account to another *public* social media account.
But I can imagine there are other instances where's it's forbidden.
