Lakers honestly lack a dynamic scorer off the bench. There isn't a person on the bench that can lift the offense. The impact of Lebron's salary and the ill-fated Russ trade a few years back not to mention the drafting mistakes of the past few years. JHS and Dalton busts.

So between the broadcast missing most of the first half and listening to the national broadcasters, I can't wait to get back to local announcers. I thought TNT was bad but this was brutal to watch as a Laker fan.

Luka did his thing but Austin was absent for too long and no one else stepped up. You can't win if only two guys carry the offensive load. Really missed Lebron tonight.

Lakers brass used ChatGPT and asked them what player could they sign for $12M and it spit out Jake LaRavia. I hope he pans out but talk about a non-exciting signing to start FA.

OKC / Indy will be a great finals matchup for basketball purists. Ratings on the other hand may struggle a bit with no real star power. Clippers are hating life right now they basically made OKC a dynasty.

Austin Reaves has hit his ceiling. He is DLO 2.0. He is good against mid defenders but struggles against elite on ball defense. He is cost effective but the Lakers need a legit SG with some size and athleticism.

Now the Lakers season is done, I will call it a success. Yes they got eliminated, but coming into the season did anyone think they would win it all? They swapped an older AD for a younger Luca to build around. Now if only Lebron would retire so they have some money to spend.

Credit to the Mavs fans cheering not booing Luca he didn't want to leave. His emotions were real and then he stuck a dagger in their hearts. Nice standing O at the end as well.

Solid win for the Lakers. They deployed the same strategy against AD that teams had deployed against the Lakers in past. Double him and make him pass out of the double team. AD is OK but predictable on his passes out of the post.

NBA refs continue to screw things up. Unacceptable ejection on Luka.

The biggest difference with the team with Luca vs AD is two fold. First they always have 2 if not 3 ball handlers on the court in Luca, Lebron, AR and Gabe (on occasion). Second the offense is less predictable. No knock on AD still thing he is amazing.

Watching this game and the GSW game I think the west playoffs are going to go like this. Whomever is making their 3s without making major mistakes wins but games can swing wildly.

Great win for the Lakers they needed to split with OKC at least. Getting the first one takes the pressure off though it would be nice if they can get the second one.

Just think how much better that Laker road trip would have been if they don't blow it against Chicago. At least they figured out to call a timeout if you can't inbound the ball.

Much needed win today against the Suns. Jax proving more valuable by the day maybe he just needed some playing time. Koloko was hit and miss. Big time getting Luka back too. Luka & AR was the one two punch the team needed on the offensive end.

I couldn't be prouder of a Laker team that lost. What an effort. Sign Koloko to a regular contract and release Reddish. Kief also played well he can help in spot minutes.

Lakers picked the wrong time of year to be missing 3 starters. It is literally their entire starting front court. Hoping they get back soon. AR starting to look better.

Cam Raddish is so deep in the dog house I think he is leasing condos. What did he do to piss off JJ that much. I mean the Lakers were almost to the point of playing the ball boy.

At the time I thought the Alex Len signing was a good one for the Lakers. I was wrong he is awful. What happened to Koloko?

Tough loss for the Lakers. Just too many people out to overcome. I do wish that Bill MacDonald would chill a bit on the Lakers missing rebounds their entire starting front court was out + DFS.

New rule "marginal contact" is complete BS. They once suspended Kobe Bryant for marginal contact based on the definition. Complete BS rule the NBA somehow invented. Ball don't lie Clippers missed both shots after the review reversals.

Honest question Laker fans. What happened to Cam Reddish? Went from major minutes to glued to the bench. I understand what he is and isn't just curious if it was deeper than that. He is losing minutes to Jordan Goodwin of all people.
