Completely agree. I had the same feeling when Baldur’s Gate swept the same year FFXVI was released. I was sad for FFXVI because it was phenomenal and it could have swept if it was a different year as BG3. It just couldn’t quite combat the BG3 hype - which was admittedly deserved.
