The good news is that within the last decades so many starting packages with with more sane or common keybindings have been created that you could download a custom Emacs and then have all the Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+Z, key […]

@simon_brooke Emacs can pay off if you're already inside it and like it. (I do!)

Zotero as already mentioned is very popular.

BibTeX tools like JabRef and BibDesk (Mac) suffice and are very compatible with almost anything that speaks LaTeX

@mariyadelano yeah you definitely need to pick your battles with these tools -- it doesn't pay off to listen to users (addicts?) that naively do anything and everything and don't get results.

The happy success stories I actually only hear from a "Claude Code Anonymous" group :) Online, everyone […]

@rabc I don't feel like trying to build Android apps; Android Studio a couple of years ago was terribly confusing. But PWA's are a thing :)
