Before I saw it was Oregon-specific (in this case) I had some insane hope that someone in the federal government worked late into the night to get them released before the (inevitable) stay request happened to make the motion moot, which would have been absolutely badass of them.

Yeah I just checked and the iconic yellow OFA is still going strong. I had no idea there were two and had the same reaction initially!

Apparently there are two versions and only one of them is going away? I think it’s the Old Farmers Almanac that’s still going to be around.

The cane reeds I use are ~$20, so much more reasonable, but the legere’s are meant to last months.
But none in your area is spectacularly bad luck. There’s @ least 5 groups in a 30 mile radius & all of them have minimum 2-3 (mostly non-overlapping) oboes. My guess is I’m not in the area or I would!
