I actually really like this framing.
I don't like "Your first draft will be shitty" as advice, because it's a really negative framing.
I prefer, "You have the freedom to be messy creating your first draft."
Anyone crafter knows what their room looks like mid-creation. Writers should be as free to be as exhuberent and messy.

I actually really like this framing.
I wasn't a Fall Out Boy fan when they became popular, but now, years later, I will say "I'm just a notch in your bed post, but you're just a line is a song" sounds pretty poetic to me.

4yo has heard Billy Joel's Italian Restaurant a handful of times. We listened to it a few hours ago, and several times since I've heard him say "Bottle of white" 😅

First breakfast of 2025 had to be fancy and new! Dutch baby pancake in a 6 inch cast iron skillet with mixed berry compote and homemade whipped cream. So, so delicious! Side of eggs for protein.

Took my 4yo to the grocery store yesterday, and it was like the Spirit of Halloween awoke in him. I had to limit the number of decorations we could buy and we went home and carved a pumpkin. No complaints here. It's the most wonderful time of the year, after all!
