How can the world’s major emitting countries ramp up ambition in their 2035 NDCs?

To aid this effort, the @ctrglobsust.bsky.social launched a new website providing in-depth analyses of plausible, high-ambition pathways for 2035: www.country-ambition.cgs.umd.edu
A solar farm in the middle of a desert on a day with clear blue skies. Text in a box on the left-hand side reads, "Countries need to pursue ambitious NDCs to curb emissions growth and meet the goals of the Paris Agreement. Explore CGS's new website to learn how countries can ramp up ambition in their 2035 NDCs."

As #Indonesia develops its 2035 NDC, it's important to understand progress and specific strategies to enhance ambition.

A new CGS report outlines high-ambition, economy-wide pathways for Indonesia to achieve 46-49% emissions reductions by 2035: go.umd.edu/Indonesia...
A birds-eye view of a community next to a solar farm with the text overlay, "High Ambition Pathways for Indonesia's 2035 NDC and Net-zero Emissions; A new report from the Center for Global Sustainability (CGS) outlines plausible, high-ambition pathways for Indonesia to achieve a 46-49% reduction in economy-wide GHG emissions by 2035 and net-zero emissions by 2060. This research builds upon CGS's earlier report, Enhancing Global Ambition for 2035, and is a part of the newly released website analyzing pathways for achieving high ambition global climate goals."
