I remember the Iraq invasion, the subsequent decision to “govern” Iraq&the incredible naïveté of the American government&people believing it would work. It did not.It failed miserably&particularly for the Iraqi people who consequently suffered greatly. US troops died&the US was humiliated.

Too bad he is so weak that he is currently incapable of defending democracy and taking a stand against the corrupt and incompetent individual who now holds his previous position.

💯 Feminism gave us choice. We need to educate younger women on “how it used to be.” Up until the 1970’s, there were 3 career options for women: nursing, teaching, secretarial—until you got married, then “you stayed at home.” To be single? Career focused? To own your own home?These were unthinkable.

Is everyone so unclear about FEMINISM that they are still asking this idiotic question? Feminism means CHOICE. Want a high-powered career? Great. Want to work PT & also volunteer in your kid’s classroom?Awesome. Want to be a SAHM—Super. Thank Feminism b/c pre-1970’s, you didn’t have a choice.

The current administration has taken legal action against children’s hospitals demanding lists of patients receiving care for gender dysphoria and their providers. The hospitals I know have fought back and so far, prevailed, but also don’t want to do anything to draw attention to themselves.

The sad thing re current environment is it has largely eliminated a critical resource at children’s hospitals for those dealing with gender dysphoria: evidence-based, family and child centered education/counseling. Find a community of other families dealing with similar issues&learn from them.

This is a tough question. From a parent perspective, it always starts with unconditional love. Unfortunately, rn,the administration has vilified/threatened US programs aimed at supporting children/families dealing w/ gender dysphoria,to the point it is not viable or safe to provide such care.
