One of our favorite parts of the #CKCCommunityCollection is the exploration of unknown #techniques from objects passed down generations!
This #Crochet #AfghanBlanket features a subtle diagonal line, which contributor, Jolie, could not find in pattern dictionaries.

Stranded color work carries each color along the wrong side of the work, whereas intarsia changes the yarn color completely to create blocks of color. The wrong side of intarsia often looks like a mirror image of the right side of the work! Can you spot the difference?

Today on #TechniqueTuesday, let's talk about #KnittingColorwork!
This #Cardigan from the #CKCCommunityCollection uses both #StrandedColorwork and #Intarsia. In #knitting, both of these techniques allow you to create the beautiful designs seen when wearing the cardigan but employ different strategies.
