Anyway, I got blown up, berated by Star Fleet Command, melted a bunch of wires with a phaser, resorted to clicking every pixel on the screen more than once, and finally stumbled through the first two episodes. I'll be back with more next Monday evening.

Last night I finally managed to dig into "Star Trek: 25th Anniversary". Oh boy. I had forgotten just how 1992 games from 1992 were.

I complain about how much hand holding goes on in modern games, but not having to, oh, write down sixteen digit numbers is something I had gotten used to.

I was in the same situation a few weeks ago so what I ended up doing was grabbing about a dozen games that I would consider playing but really wasn't sold on, and gave each one half an hour to impress me. It didn't solve the problem, but it was six hours of playing games.
