I had a long email chain with Mayor Wilson who looped in APD. I was assured that it was an enforceable violation, that the homeowners were notified, and that enforcement had begun. Yet nothing has changed. I really don't know what else to do to get this safety issue addressed.

This is also a daily issue on the 400 block of N Union St. I've been trying to get the city to address it for YEARS and yet the same 4 cars continue to do it every day.

According to the FY26 Alexandria Transit Strategic Plan, they purchased electric replacement trolleys in FY24. Not sure if that actually happened or what the delivery timeline is for those, though.
