The fact is the mass consolidation of wikis and fan sites into single sites was basically a trap to force those communities to deal with the eventual enshittification of the platform that absorbed them. Some of us had the foresight and hands to see this coming and avoid this, 1/2

If there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that the suits that precipitated this whole fiasco have absolutely no clue why people are frustrated, and unfortunately they’re the ones holding the power. Fuck Fandom.
