Yeah I think it's important for students to recognize that what they are *selling* is authenticity. This is a political and cultural campaign. They are not necessarily living the life they are selling, but part of the campaign is to frame it as "authentic" as possible +

I think it would be a mistake to believe that the Trad Wife influencers are living the lifestyle they advocate in general. Take Charlie Kirk's wife for example. We can go back to Phyllis Schlafly, too, who advocated trad marriage on many levels yet had a media-heavy career

I also wouldn't call it hypocrisy but marketing and promoting an ideology in practice that they get rewarded for through $, publicity, and various in-group rewards/support/etc.

I suffer frm pretty serious imposter syndrome, or, well, I don't think of it as imposter syndrome bc I genuinely think I shld be better at many aspects of my job - writing, knowledge of languages, exec functioning/admin sklls, etc. But this BW thing has even me wondering if I'm too self-critical

you know, I don’t exactly know how the NIL fund works. I know it is somewhat separate, & my understanding is that they are raising private $$ separately. but I don’t know the details and I’m sure at the very least it may affect other fundraising. it will not come from the gen non-ath budget tho

Scott Jennings is either lying or wildly misinformed about what happened in Chicago. He keeps claiming 37 Tren de Aragua gang members were arrested. As if it excuses zip tying kids.

DHS says 37 were arrested, and only 2 were suspected gang members.
