Growing up surrounded by the sea, Albrecht also quickly took to the age-old art of angling. No matter where his travels take him, he always tries to find some time to drop a line somewhere to see what new and exciting specimens he can reel in and write about in his journals.

Outside of combat, Albrecht has long possessed a love for crafting all manner of things. While he learned much about alchemy from his father and goldsmithing from his mother, when he doesn't have a needle, hammer, awl, or alembic in hand, he can often be found making tasty meals for friends.

After the Battle of Carteneau, Albrecht spent the next several years taking up a number of jobs. He eventually took a shine to the axe and rage-fueled Warrior, finding the way it channeled strong emotions into raw power not all that dissimilar to how Summoner's draw upon the power of Eikons.

One of the great things about it is each part is thematically a little different while keeping some key elements across each one. It runs the gamut of horror, action, adventure, mystery, crime thriller, prison break, cross country horse race involving the body of Christ, etc. All the essentials.

Really enjoyed your reaction! Long time fan, oldtaku, and fellow XIV player here to tell you that this whole franchise is a blast. I got into it back when the third part was introduced here in the states and have been a fan ever since. I think anyone can find something to enjoy from the series.

Trying to get the missing volumes for this has been my white whale for years now. I've managed to get all but a handful of them now but the last few in particular had low print numbers due to overall poor sales for the series at the time based on what I was told by some reps from Vertical.
