Two things: first, US history tells us that Britain imposed the gold standard on the American colonies in order to break the independent business life there, and made it against the law to buy other than from Britain, second, there isn't enough gold to back currency.

No one went hungry in the presence of Jesus, and no one should live with food scarcity in a land filled with supposed Christians.

And that's the greatest irony of it all: that the very Evangelicals who've spent the last 50 years in this country demonizing those who reject Jesus are now the single most compelling reason for them to do so.

I would have thought that a certain transparency would be part and parcel of any business model. At the very least have an internal auditor, or a contract with an independent auditor?
How do you not have accountability for a company like that?
