If you think he can’t win that’s one thing. But calling him a republican shows you haven’t followed any of the legislation he’s supported or signed into law. What’s the adage? Look at what he does, not what he says. All I’m saying is if he’s the nominee I will vote for him.

I love my trans friends too. I won’t defend his comment on trans girls in sports. I will promote the legislation he’s signed protecting trans kids.

Reagan took 7 years to address the AIDS epidemic. Newsom, contrary to state law, began issuing same-sex marriage licenses in 2004 when he was SF Mayor. He’s not Republican lite by any means. We dems have to stop needing to fall in love with our politicians before voting for them.

I don’t have to love a politician. I want someone who’s unafraid to act. He has been that. Not winning the redistricting initiative would have been career ending. He went for it bc it was right. He’s been bold over & over as SF Mayor as Gov. If he ends up the nominee I will vote for him.

I’m shocked NYC doesn’t already utilize such an obvious revenue source. California has had neighborhood parking permits for 1/2 a century. The advent of parking apps has improved meter use & lowered the dreaded parking ticket bc the meter ran out or you didn’t have the right change to begin with!

I think what you don’t hear is all the protests happening everywhere, everyday across America. National press just won’t cover it if there’s no blood. So be it. Communities see it. Communities support it. There will be a tipping point and lots of people will be shocked by how many we are.
