I think you'd know if you'd been there, hehe. I love the moors best on a cold winter's day / semi-stormy or at the very least a brisk windy day. I've spent more time in the North Yorkshire Moors, though.

I am now curious to see what I'd make of the novel nowadays. Unfortunately, I don't have my scraggy old note-ridden book anymore. Will check out the library soon - there's bound to be a copy there.

Impressive! True diligence. I didn’t read any of our set texts 10 or 12 times.....Have you been to Haworth? Or spent much time in the moors? The novel definitely brings the moors to life. I took my old German exchange friend to Haworth.

It's a shame cos my fave Irish pub around here prioritises the Superbowl. Most of the locals prefer to watch that. He'll show the odd 🏉 match when poss.

I'd definitely get on board with a Walkman. Used to love my Walkman...which had a Howard Jones sticker on the reverse side, don't tell anyone, hehe. Shame I don't have any cassettes anymore. I also had a bubble C64 with a cassette player.

Gasp! 289 yo-yo. Gasp! That is quite the investment. Not sure if I could ever justify to myself spending such a sum on that piece of equipment - it's virtually equal to a wknd away.....& we go away a lot. Maybe I should look at some demos.

Wowzer. That's quite the contraption. Where did she buy it from? Just done a quick search & the ones I found are pretty expensive.... Like the idea of juicing in the morning, pulling that big lever etc - bit like pulling an old fashioned pint. More fun than an electric whizzer thing.
