When you give an AI model a prompt and it generates a song, it’s not your creative expression that made it. It spits out options and you go “that’s fine I guess.”

You’re deferring your vision to an expensive math equation. If you don’t believe in your idea enough to do it yourself, why should I?

I’m only an hour in, but having played through the whole trilogy the first time a couple years ago, this feels about like what I would expect? Extremely pretty game, tonally closer to Prime 3 with a bit of Prime 1 vibe in there. Not groundbreaking but totally in line with Nintendo polish expectation

I sold my Series X the other day. Considering Steam Machine/Switch 2 for the next several years.

I think there’s a feeling I/many of us have where we want to experience the true “canon” of excellent art in our lifetimes. The truth is that we all have our own canon of great art that we naturally come across over time and your canon might not include the 1933 classic Duck Soup.

If you call and complain and say you didn’t get a new game, they sometimes comp you $10 iirc

There’s a really cool mission-doling system where you don’t see the seams/icons as much as other similar Ubisoft-style RPGs, but the loop of “bop around, do a thing” is almost exactly the same even 4-5 hours in.

In a world where the former doesn’t exist, the latter is a pretty good choice for a backup (I haven’t seen the new movie yet).
