That's why I say most releases. But the PS5 also had a lot of hardware issues at launch that needed to be fixed. In most cases the customer benefits from waiting before jumping on buying a console on release. That's just my thoughts on the matter though.

I member when you could just but a disk in the console day one and not need a 10 gigabyte download to play a single player game. I will clutch my PSP with birth by sleep like Golem with the one ring.

It follows the golden rule of most all console releases. Don't buy the first wave. Wait until either a year after or for the eventual price drop. That's my two cents at least.
