Trillium report for Monday, February 16. Last year's first blossom happened on the 20th, not sure we'll hit that this week.

Last full day in the North Cascades for the time being, spent a few hours pushing myself through deep mounds of fresh powder. Definitely type 2 level fun.
A "trail" buried in snow, bordered by snow-laden evergreens. You can almost see Goat Mountain in the distance.

A better view than the last time I did Artist Point in winter. Supposedly the clouds were going to break a bit later, but I can only handle getting pelted by icy snow for so long.
