Our 2025 Fellows Blake Iles, a proud Iman, Ghungalu and Darumbal man, born and raised on Darumbal. His work consists of looking for ways to revitalise culture and advocate for youth. He also delivers cultural workshops in the Rockhampton community to provide cultural education to all.

❤️💛 Today we honour the anniversary of the Aboriginal Flag, a powerful symbol of survival, identity and sovereignty.

Designed in 1970 by Harold Joseph Thomas (Bundoo), a proud Luritja and Wombai man born in Mparntwe, the flag was created to lead a demonstration at a (now called) NAIDOC march.
