Our School of Medicine community mission reflects our responsibility as a public institution to extend expertise beyond our campus. Together, these numbers reflect a community mission focused on access, equity, and partnership.
By the numbers slide. 1.1K plus clinicians and others trained by CU through ECHO Colorado. 23K plus unique medicaid patients received behavioral health care. $1 million from the Joanna Samara Family Rural Health Endowment. 100 plus community health programs supported in Colorado.

After an ambitious curriculum redesign and seeing the first graduating class of the innovative Trek curriculum, we have achieved full LCME accreditation through the 2032-33 academic year.

We have taken deliberate steps to support our scientists, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students. Over $12 million was committed by our departments.

This past October, the @nature.com Index ranked the CU Anschutz Medical Campus number five in the world for research hospitals in health sciences, based on data gathered between 2022 and 2024.

As a nationally recognized academic medical center, we are a cornerstone for care in this state and beyond. In 2025, we saw significant growth in patient care, medical school programs, and received $223 million in philanthropic support.
2025 data highlights: 4.7 million patient visits. 10K plus med school applicants, 6K plus faculty members, #3 ranked child health associate/physician assistant program, $223 million in philanthropic support, top 5 in children’s hospital with 5 specialities in the top 10.
