Panel 3 : Kip slowly starts looking back up. Kip : "Everything you do, even just being around-" Panel 4 : Kip finally looks back up at Mason. They immediately stop, shocked. Kip : "...you" Panel 5 : Mason is sweating, looking horrified. Behind them, the panel shatters like glass and reads "TOO LATE".

Mason (thinking) : "How do you turn someone down like this? I guess... knowing kip, I should ease them out of this. I can start by making some more distance between us. Pull back on some of the teasing and flirting. I don't think they'd take it well if I just dropped this all at once on them." Kip : "It's strange, you know? Thinking back. I know it sounds silly, but I just... I really wanted you to know..." Panel 3 : While talking, Kip slowly reaches out to hold Mason's arm. Mason (thinking) : "Was it always this complicated?" Kip : "Um, I guess what I'm trying to say is" Panel 4: Kip grabs Mason's arm. Mason tenses up immediately, bringing their thoughts and Kip's speech to an end. Mason (thinking) : "Maybe I never should've-" Kip : "I hope this is as special to you as-" Panel 5 : Mason brutally flinches and pulls away. Mason : "!?" Kip : "AH" Page 15 : A digital comic page featuring colorful, anthropomorphic animals. Panel 1 : Kip is thrown off and rattled, immediately apologizing. Kip : "S... SORRY ! Sorry !" Panel 2 : Mason looks unsure of how to react. Kip : "I didn't mean- I just thought-" Panel 3 : To Kip's surprise, Mason reaches and holds Kip's hand. Panel 4 : Kip is now the one startled. Mason : "Here." Kip : "Oh!! I, um... Thank you...!" Panel 5 : A close-up of Mason, getting lost in thoughts again. Mason (thinking) : "What am I doing? They looked so sad when I pulled away, I just grabbed their hand without thinking." Panel 6 : While they're walking, Mason glances at Kip, who is now flustered and smiling and looking away shyly.
