CU PT students partnered with No Barriers, Adaptive Sports for All, & Chicken N Pickle to support inclusive recreation. These events brought together adaptive athletes, students, & community leaders to promote accessibility & adventure for all.

Several hybrid DPT students created training videos for UCCS students who want to get involved in assisting clients in a community wellness class for neurological patients. These videos will be used in a badge program for undergraduate students to be trained to work in the NeuroMoves class.

Congratulations to Dr. Courtney Kinniburgh who completed the 24–25 Pediatric PT Residency Program at CU. Courtney will be continuing her journey in pediatric care as she steps into a full-time inpatient acute care role at Children’s Hospital Colorado. We wish her all the best in this next chapter!

CU PT was well represented at the APTA House of Delegates Meeting in Washington, DC, including Drs. Joe Palmer, Delegate at-Large, and Tami Struessel, Mile High delegate, as well as CU graduates Colorado Chapter President Rebekah Griffith, and PT-PAC Trustee Katelynn Downey.
