Jeremy Healy was also the first DJ I saw live, at the Tunnel in Glasgow. I was 17. Not sure how I got in.

I've been absent from live music for years (other than classical) but my daughter got tickets to see LTJ Bukem and Roni Size together next year!

90s. Downward Spiral had just been released. An awesome sight. Looked like punks from another planet. I remember a giant mohawk and the guitarist was in a cage.

Still, lucky you. He played the Edinburgh Festival, I think, ages ago when I was just getting into jazz. I knew only a few pieces by him at the time but should have made the effort to go!
