I'm sorry but I just don't understand why the Oasis concert (in Cardiff) is getting so much coverage on RTE, from Claire Byrne, to the news, like enough already 🙄

A large tree was cut down in the Phoenix Park & somebody has marked the key events that it witnessed during its 125 year life. Napoleonic Wars, the Famine, Home Rule, WW1, the Easter Rising, civil war, independence, WW2, “the troubles”, Pope JPII visit, and peace in Northern Ireland. A witness tree.

Anyone else think it's really inappropriate to give such graphic details of ongoing court cases? Eg the mcgregor one. Don't remember this in the past and having the radio on in the kitchen with children present is horrible 😕
