I served in 4 conflicts (Somalia, Bosnia, Kosovo and Iraq). Even if they were legally considered enemy combatants, what is described here is a war crime. Killing defenseless combatants is a war crime. Having said that, these aren't combatants. The bar is even higher on how you treat civilians.
