All too common, but true. All the gr@pe avoidance techniques basically consisted of, "make sure it's someone else who gets assaulted." She's not watching her drink as closely, she's in a shorter skirt, she's walking alone. How about teaching them not to gr@pe us!

Oh! Yes! He's creepy in general, to me. I agree with you on how it was supposed to come across versus how it did.

I watched a Gen X comedienne with a bit, "We all knew that guy. When a woman would join the group, we'd tell her, 'Hey yeah, he's a really great guy. Just don't be alone with him, you know?'" That is how bad this is. Even in warning other women, we were taught to protect men.

Nothing worth having was ever easy to get ≠ it's worth having if it's not easy to get.

It's not easy to jump off the top of a skyscraper, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Okay, that explains it. It doesn't justify it, but it explains it.

When there's language prohibiting it, it means it used to happen. I say we bring back genital grabbing when two men are fighting! 😆

It's wild how often men think that women will still take care of them, even after a divorce. A friend's ex would call her to talk about the kids, then expect her to listen to his troubles and emotionally support him. HE left HER!
