well, i have story criticisms for seasons 1 & 2, and nothing too major in s3. i really hated the aretuza trainee stuff, and i just wish they had put the "failed sorceresses become lawyers" part from SoS lol

maybe he was just too much of a liability, and too expensive at that? two bad things to be for a production of that size.

(the "bad behavior on set" stuff is still very rumor-mill to me, even if I tend to believe it. I'm just going off the facts)

okay before everyone jumps to the conclusion it's bc Henry was a menace on set, wasn't this also the same year he got injured on set while filming season 2? --and I just checked, it was Dec. 2020. But then he also caught covid (and shut down filming) earlier in Aug. 2020.

and I completely get why this show gets the "it's the Yennefer show" criticism... but giving Yennefer extra screentime/extra story is 1. entertaining and 2. feels like making up for how thin of a character she is in the books. There's a depth vs. mysteriousness battle in writing her

While I'm still kinda getting used to Fishburne as Regis, I really liked the accent and intonation he picked for him. I think he's gonna be great (to no one's surprise)
