I absolutely agree with you and I can guarantee that when the AI bubble pops, a lot of these entertainment companies from EA to Disney are going to be forced to sell some intellectual property in order to pay off their debts and hopefully whatever company picks them up does these properties Justice.

It's not surprising Disney has done something stupid again, they've been doing some pretty stupid stuff in recent years from their dumbass live action remakes of classic Disney films, to the bullshit with the Star Wars franchise and what they did to the owl house and it's creator and now that ugggg.

I seriously can't wait for the AI bubble to pop and all these companies and tech bros that have put so much time and money in AI go bankrupt. Also this definitely feels like a modern day equivalent to Moloch.

Honestly my theory is that Luanne discovered that her dad was in prison and that Aunt Peggy lied to her and also found out that Peggy got Lucky to fail in getting his GED, so she basically went no contact with her aunt and uncle.
