Watch out for grain free diets and diets with peas, legumes, and potatoes.
Get your dogs checked around the age of 3 when it is most commonly developed.
And hug your pups close ♡

He was diagnosed with #DCM, Dilated Cardiomyopathy, last year. It's a progressive disease that is most commen in #dobermans, but all dogs can develop it.
However, there is a STRONG link to DCM and grain free diets. Despite the documentation on this, they still sell grain free foods.

I'm fine, my pups are fine, and things are working out, so no need for concern. But I feel like I've withdrawn from so much and I just need to get back to it. I feel like I'm nearly in a place where I can do that. Maybe I'll even stream??
